Article Overview 

The User Location feature in SalesRabbit+ enables real-time tracking and monitoring of field representatives through the Mobile and Web Application. This powerful tool helps managers maintain oversight of their team's activities and movements in the field.


🔑 Key Features

  • Live Location Tracking: Real-time monitoring of user locations as they move through their assigned territories. 
    • Note: we are reading & updating the user’s position every 5 minutes. 
  • Movement Trail: Visual representation of a user's path throughout their workday (mobile only). 
  • Historical Data: Access to past location data for performance analysis and route optimization.

  • The User Location feature is currently available SalesRabbit+ Mobile and Web Application.

📱 Mobile App Implementation

  • The feature actively tracks user location while the mobile app is in use, creating a comprehensive trail of their movements. This data is securely stored and accessible to authorized managers and administrators.
  • To view User Location, they must have the ‘User Location’ Permission enabled for their specific role, and then they can toggle on User Location Path in their Mobile App Settings.

🌐 Web App Implementation

  • This feature can be view on the "Map" view by toggling on the "User Locations" toggle in the Map Layers drawer.
  • Unlike the mobile app this will only show the last position of the users and will not show a pathing between the location pins.
