This guide walks through the process of creating/editing competitions within Amplify for Company Admins or Competition Admins, detailing how to access and modify competition settings through the competition creation wizard.
Note: Amplify competitions are available to SalesRabbit accounts on the Pro/Enterprise plans. Additionally, adjustments to Amplify competitions can only be made by an Admin/Owner, or Amplify users with the competition permission enabled.
Part 1: Competition Permission
In order to manage an account's competitions, a user must have the Competition Permission enabled for their Amplify user. This part will walk through how to check if a user has the competition permission enabled for their Amplify user.
- Log in to Amplify on the web -> select the "Manage" in the bottom left corner -> click "Users".
- Select the desired user -> click "Admin Access".
- Ensure that the user either has "Company Access" or, specifically, the "Competition" permission enabled.
- Don't forget to click "Save Changes" before navigating away!
Part 2: Creating a Competition
This part will demonstrate how to create a basic competition from the Amplify Web App.
- To access Amplify, select the "Amplify" option in the left menu from the SalesRabbit Web App.
- A new tab will open in the browser.
- Once in Amplify, navigate to "Competitions" in the left menu -> click the "+ Create New" button to create a new competition for your team(s).
- When creating a new competition, you'll first be present with a menu of different types of competitions. Select which type of competition you'd like to host:
- Standard:
- Multi-Round:
- Prize Ladder:
- Lottery:
- Bracket:
- Lucky:
- Gift Swap:
- King of the Hill:
- After selecting the type of competition -> click on it and select "Create "X" Competition".
- When creating a new competition, users will need to do the following:

- Select which/if users will be competing individually, in Teams, or create custom teams.

- Select which metric(s) will be tracked during the competition.

- Set the Starting and Ending Date/Time for the competition.

Step 4: Would you like to set goals? (optional)
- Set a specific goal for each user/team to reach during the competition.

Step 5: Choose your prizes and winners.
- Create prizes for the competition.
- Prizes can either be a custom item or coins.
- Note: if offering coins as a reward for competitions, users will first need coins in their budget to offer them.

Step 6: Review your advanced options.
- Advanced options include deciding privacy settings, when a winner is declared, and what happens if a tie occurs.

- Don't forget to give your competition a Title and Description!
- Click either "Save as Draft" or "Save and Publish" to save your changes!
- To edit an existing/drafted competition, navigate to the "Competitions" tab -> select the three dots icon -> click "Edit".
