Article Overview

This article will demonstrate the different ways to create a lead in the SalesRabbit+ Mobile App.

Included in this article is how to convert a DataGrid Pin into a lead. DataGrid pins are only available to accounts with the DataGrid AI add-on.

Part 1: Creating a Lead

There are 4 ways to create a lead on the SalesHub Map.

  • The Lead Status Icon: located in the upper right corner of the SalesHub map. When selected, a drawer of your lead statuses will appear at the bottom of your screen. Simply select the appropriate lead status and use your finger to place the status on top of the knocked home.
    • Note: address information will be automatically saved when creating leads with the Lead Status Icon.

  • Long Press: users can create a new lead by performing a long press on the home/address you're creating a lead for.
    • When a user long presses (holds their finger over the home on the map), a wheel consisting of available lead statuses will appear. To mark a home with a lead, simply select the appropriate lead status.
    • Note: address information will be automatically saved when creating leads with long press.
    • Note: the first 10 listed statuses on the Lead Statuses page will be available to use in the Long Press wheel.

  • The "+" Icon: located in the upper right hand corner of the app.
    • Adding a lead via the "+" icon allows you to add lead details without having the address information or needing to navigate to the address on the map.

  • When creating a lead via "+", a blank lead card will appear where a user can fill in the appropriate fields with the available information (First name, last name, phone, email, set a lead status...)
    • This method is ideal if a user obtains a phone number or email for a lead and no address.
    • Note: Leads without an address will not be visible on the SalesHub Map. However they'll be searchable under the SalesHub List tab.
  • Address Search: user can search an address then covert the location icon into a lead status.
    • Tap the search icon in the top left corner of the SalesHub Map.

  •
    • Search for and select the correct address.
  •
    • The location will be marked with an location marker.

  •
    • Tap on the location pin and it will present you with the same "long press" status wheel. Select the appropriate status and then you have a new lead!
  • Once the new lead has been placed, a user can then reselect that lead, navigate to "Details" and add/edit lead information (name, phone, email, notes, custom fields...).

Part 2: Convert a DataGrid Pin

Accounts with the DataGrid AI add-on will have the option to create leads using DataGrid Pins. DataGrid pins are accessible on homes inside of that user's assigned areas.

Note: A user whose role has access to the DataGrid On-Demand permission will also see DataGrid Pins on homes within 300m of the user's current physical location.

  • Users can select DataGrid pins to view demographic information on homes inside of their assigned areas. DataGrid pins contain name tiles of homeowners/renters that have recently been associated with that home. A user can easily convert these name tiles into a lead by simply selecting the appropriate lead status on the correct name tile.
  • Leads created from DataGrid pins will automatically save the demographic information from the DataGrid pin.
    • To re-access that new lead's demographic information, select the lead on the map and toggle to "DataGrid AI".

Part 3: Edit a Lead

This part will demonstrate how to edit an lead's details. This includes editing contact information, adding a note, attaching a file, and viewing lead activity.

  • Users are able to edit a lead's contact information by selecting an existing lead on the map -> clicking "Details".
  • Users will be brought to the lead's details. The details contain options to add/edit "Info", "Notes", "Files", and view "Activity"
  • Info Tab:
    • Allows for users to add/edit lead contact information, reassign the lead to another user, update the lead's status, set an appointment/return time, and edit custom field information.
    • Click "Save" to apply any changes made.
  • Notes Tab:
    • Users can add notes to a lead using the "Add a Note" field at the bottom of the page. All notes are date & time stamped with who left the note.
    • Click "Save" to save new notes.
  • Files Tab:
    • Use the "Add New File" button at the bottom of the page to attach a photo/file to the lead.
    • Click "Save" to complete the file attachment.
  • Forms Tab:
    • Access any available forms to submit to pass lead information to another system.
      • Note: Forms is a Pro account feature.
  • Quick Links Tab:
    • Access any available quick links.
      • Note: quick links are a Pro account feature.
  • Activity Tab:
    • Access a history of updates made to the lead.

Part 4: Managing Leads Offline

This part will explain offline lead syncing.

  • Sometimes service can be spotty when you're out canvassing. If a rep loses service or goes offline for any reason, they will see an "Offline" indicator at the top of the SalesHub Map.
  • Leads can still be created when a user is offline.
  • As a user creates leads offline, the banner at the top of the SalesHub Map will update with how many leads will need to be synced.
  • Once the user's device has a good connection, the banner will begin to sync.
  • Once all the leads have been synced, the banner will turn your brand color and you'll be notified that syncing is complete.

Pro Tips

  • If your account has DataGrid AI, SalesRabbit recommends creating leads with DataGrid pins so you have access to the most information possible.
  • The SalesHub "Street View" can also be used to create/edit lead details.
