Article Overview

In this article, we cover how to set the permissions that come with DataGrid AI, how to populate DataGrid pins in the mobile app, converting DataGrid pins into leads, and utilizing DataGrid Areas in the mobile app.

Tip: DataGrid AI is an add-on that may or may not be apart of your current plan. Contact our Support team if you're interested in adding DataGrid AI to your plan.

Note: Some examples in this article are only available to users whose role has certain permissions enabled.

Part 1: DataGrid AI Permissions

This part explains how to manage a role's DataGrid permissions within SalesRabbit+. Available permissions include DataGrid Areas, DataGrid Buyer Scores, and DataGrid On-Demand.

  • From the Web App, navigate to "Settings" -> click "Roles & Permisssions".
    • DataGrid AI permissions are editable by Role.
  • Available DataGrid Permissions:
    • DataGrid Areas: view or manage areas with aggregated buyer scores by state, country, or census blocks and assign them to users to work leads in that specific area.
    • DataGrid AI Buyer Scores: view the buyer propensity scores in DataGrid Areas and DataGrid pins.
    • DataGrid On-Demand: view DataGrid AI pins on homes within a 300m radius from the user's physical location (no need to assign areas in order to see DataGrid pins).
  • If making changes to a role's permissions, click "Save" in the bottom right corner.

Part 2: Populating DataGrid Pins on the Mobile App

In this part, we cover how to populate DataGrid pins in the SalesRabbit+ mobile app.

Note: DataGrid pins are only accessible from the mobile app and not the web app.

  • There are two ways to populate DataGrid pins in the mobile app.
    1. If a user's role has the "DataGrid On-Demand" permission turned on, then DataGrid pins will appear within 300m of that user's current physical location.
    2. Users will also view/access DataGrid pins on homes inside of areas the user is assigned to.
  •  To draw and assign an area from the mobile app, select the "Lasso Tool" in the SalesHub.
  • From there, circle around a neighborhood/group of homes you'd like to turn into an area.
  • Once the shape has been completed, options to add a title, select a team, user, and color will appear.
  • Select the desired user for the area. That user will then be able to view/access DataGrid pins on homes inside of the assigned area.
    • Tip: If a user is not seeing DataGrid pins on home in their assigned areas, zoom in on the map a bit closer to the street!
  • Note: DataGrid Pins also appear on homes within 300m of a user's location if the user's role has the "DataGrid On-Demand" permission enabled.

Part 3: Convert a DataGrid Pin into a Lead

In this part, we cover how to convert a DataGrid Pin into a Lead.

  • Convert a DataGrid Pin into a lead by first selecting a pin on the map.
  • The available demographic information for that pin will be visible.
    • Click on any DataGrid pin to view the Home and Home Owner data for that property.
      • Home Data that displays:
        • Year Built
        • Home Price
        • Home Size
        • Residency (How long in home)
        • Occupants
        • Credit Range
      • Home Owner Data that displays:
        • First and Last Name
        • Age
        • Preferred Language
        • Owner/Renter Status
        • Marital Status
        • Combined total Income
        • Phone Number (If Available)
    • Once ready to convert a pin into a Lead, select the "Lead Status Icon" that best represents the interaction with the Prospect.
  • Now that you have converted a lead, the name and information from the pin is automatically saved on the lead. Users can add notes from the new pop-up, or click the "Details" button in the top right hand corner to edit the lead info even further.

Part 4: DataGrid Areas

This part will explain how to create and assign areas to user through DataGrid Areas.

Note: A user's role must have the DataGrid Areas permission turned on to perform these functions.

  • User's whose role has the "DataGrid Areas" permission enabled will have access to the DataGrid Areas icon in the mobile app on the right hand side.
  • Selecting the DataGrid Areas icon will overlay the map with DataGrid information. This overlay creates predetermined areas with aggregated buyer scores by state, country, or census blocks.
  • Zooming in or out on the map while this overlay is active will redraw the predetermined areas into larger or smaller zones.
  • Selecting one of the predetermined areas will display average demographic information for homes in that area.
  • User's whose role has the "Manage Areas" permission enabled will be able to convert this predetermined zone into an assigned area by selecting "Convert to Area".
  • From here, make the are personal:
    • Give the area a Title (optional).
    • Choose a Team the area should go to.
    • Choose a User from that team to receive the area.
    • Lastly, choose a Display Color for the area.
  • Once done, click "Create" in the top right hand corner of the pop-up.
  • That area is now assigned to the chosen user. The assigned user will now be able to view individual DataGrid pins on home inside of the area.

Part 5: DataGrid Filters

In this part, we cover how to filter your DataGrid AI pins on the mobile app. Filters help users focus on high priority DataGrid pins or that meet a specified criteria that you set.

  • In the top left hand corner of the SalesHub Map on the mobile app, select the "Filters" Icon.

  • Then click the dropdown arrow next to "DataGrid" filter.
  • Scroll through the desired datapoint(s) that you would like to filter by, and set the parameters by clicking "Apply" when finished. This action will remove DataGrid Pins that do not match the standards applied.
  • Tip: set the "Occupancy" filter to "Homeowner" which removes DataGrid Pins with renters from the map.
  • If you wish to reset filters to the default view, click the "Reset All" button underneath the DataGrid AI filter toggle switch.

Pro Tips

  • The Occupancy filter is the most popular, as it will allow you to remove pins that have renters.
  • Consider data points that will be useful for your industry. Here are some popular examples:
    • Solar
      • Credit Score
      • Length of residence
    • Roofing & Home Improvement
      • Year Home built
  • It is still a good idea to knock on every door. But filters allow you to focus on the homes that may be a higher priority to you in your first pass through an area.
