Article Overview

This article demonstrates how to navigate a lead's activity. Lead Activity is a historical record of any changes made to the lead. Changes include when a lead is created, when the lead status is updated, information changes (contact info, address, notes...), and when appointments are set. Additionally, those with the appropriate permissions will be able to view the user's proximity to the lead when that action occurred.

Tip: users must have the appropriate permission applied to their role in order to view Lead Activity. If you're an owner or manager tracking your reps, it's also recommended to enable "Proximity Indicator" on your device's mobile app settings.

Part 1: Lead Activity Permission

In order to access lead activity, a user's role must have the "View" permission for Lead Activity. Users whose role does not have this permission enabled will not be able to access lead activity on the web app and mobile app.

  • From the SalesRabbit Web App, navigate to "Roles & Permissions" -> select the "Role" you'd like to edit this permission for -> locate the "Lead Activity" permission and ensure the "View" box is checked.
  • If making any changes, be sure to click "Save" in the bottom right corner before navigating away.

Part 2: Lead Activity on Web

This part will demonstrate how to view lead activity from the Leads List and Map on the Web App.

  • From the SalesRabbit Web App, lead activity can be viewed in two locations: Leads List & Map.
  • To view lead activity from the Leads List, navigate to "SalesHub" -> click "Leads".
  • Next, select the lead you'd like to view the activity for -> from the Lead Detail page, navigate to "Activity".
  • From here, users will see a historical log of status changes, contact info changes, and ownership changes.
    • Note: if the change was made to the lead from the mobile app, the user's proximity to the lead will also be listed to the right of the action.
  • To view lead activity from the Leads List, navigate to "SalesHub" -> click "Map".
  • Next, locate the lead you'd like to view the activity for -> from the right hand lead details menu, navigate to "Activity".
  • From here, users will see a historical log of status changes, contact info changes, and ownership changes.
    • Note: if the change was made to the lead from the mobile app, the user's proximity to the lead will also be listed to the right of the action.

Part 3: Lead Activity on Mobile

This part will demonstrate how to view lead activity from the Mobile App.

  • From the SalesRabbit mobile app, navigate to "SalesHub" -> locate and select the lead you wish to view the activity for -> click "Details" to access the lead's detail page.
  • From the lead's details page, navigate to the "Activity" tab.
  • From here, users will see a historical log of status changes, contact info changes, and ownership changes.
    • Note: if the change was made to the lead from the mobile app, the user's proximity to the lead will also be listed to the right of the action.
  • If a user is curious where the lead owner specifically was located when a certain action or piece of information was updated, simply select the "Proximity Icon" to the right of the action (6.2 mi in the above screenshot).
  • This action will display where the user was located when that action took place or when that piece of information was updated.

Pro Tips

  • If looking to track where your team members are while they're creating leads, it's best practice to also enable the "Proximity Indicator" in your device's mobile app settings.
