Article Overview

This article demonstrates how to upload and manage Sales Materials on the web app, and how to access the uploaded material(s) on the mobile app.

Note: Only users with administrative access can add Sales Material to your SalesRabbit account.



Part 1: Sales Materials Permissions

In this section, we will go over how to edit the Sales Materials permission from the SalesRabbit Web App. This permission controls whether a role can manage/view Sales Materials for the account.

  • From the SalesRabbit Web App, navigate to "Settings" -> click "Roles & Permissions" -> choose the role you'd like to edit - > find the "Sales Materials" permission under the General section.
    • View Permission: allows users to view uploaded Sales Materials.
    • Manage Permission: allows users to upload/manage Sales Materials from the Web App.
  • If any edits are made to a role's permission, click "Save" to apply your changes.

Part 2: Folder Creation

This section demonstrates how to manage the Sales Materials Folder Tree. Creating designated folders allow users to better organize their Sales Materials.

  • From the SalesRabbit Web app, navigate to "SalesHub" -> click "Sales Materials".
  • The folder tree will can be found near the middle of the screen.
  • When creating a new folder, provide a folder "Name" -> click the "Create" button.
  • Selecting on an existing folder allows users to create a folder within the selected folder using the "+ Create Folder" button.
    • Note: users are able to create a folder within an existing folder as well.
  • When selecting an existing folder, users are also able to:
    • View previously uploaded materials that were previously assigned to that folder.
    • "Upload" materials to the selected folder.
    • Select the three dot icon to "Rename/Delete" the selected folder.
    • Note: use the "+ Create Folder" button to create another folder within the selected folder.

Part 3: Add Sales Materials

In this section, we will go over how to add and remove Sales Material into your account. Materials can be uploaded as either a file/document or a URL can be added as a material.

  • Go to hop.salesrabbit.com and log into your account.
  • From the left menu, navigate to "SalesHub" -> click "Sales Materials".
  • Clicking the "Upload" button will allow users to add any Sales Materials that your team may need.
  • Select the "Sales Material Type" you are uploading:
    • File: upload a file from your desktop to be accessed by users from the mobile app.
  • URL: add a URL that can be easily accessible by users from the mobile app.
  • Under "Location", select the folder this sales material will live under.
  • Under "File" or "URL", click or drag the file to upload or provide the desired URL.
  • Under "File Name" provide a name for the new Sales Material.
    • Note: oftentimes the file name will default to the name of your uploaded file.
  • Click "Upload" to save your new file.
  • To "Edit" or "Delete" previously uploaded materials, click the three dots on the right hand side of the file and select the desired action.
  • Supported Image:
    • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
    • PNG (.png)
    • GIF (.gif), including animated GIFs
    • WebP (.webp), including animated WebP
    • HEIC (.heic)
    • TIFF (.tif, .tiff)
  • Supported Documents:
    • PDF (.pdf)
  • Supported Video:
    • MP4 (.mp4)
    • MOV (.mov)
    • 3GP (.3pg)
  • Supported Audio:
    • AAC (.aac)
    • MP3 (.mp3)
    • MAV (.wav)

Part 4: Accessing Sales Material on Mobile

In this section, we will cover where to find and use the Sales Material on the Mobile App.

  • From the mobile app, using the menu at the bottom, click into "Tools".
  • Once in the Tools section, click into "Sales Materials".
  • Users can access any Folders and Sales Materials on the mobile app!
  • Just select the Folder -> then the material(s) that you wish to view.
    • Tip: select the star icon on any material to save it to the "Favorites" section.
  • Selecting the file will either display the uploaded file, or open a browser within the app to the connected URL.
